Women throughout American history have used their voice as a continuous factor towards the efforts of eliminating societal inhibitions. The United states was set on fundamentals of hopeful prosperity and equality for all. Contradicting factors led for movements to make right of these issues preventing individuals from a fair chance of a prosperous life. Women such as Emma Goldman, Ida B. Wells, Mary Jones, and Dolores Huerta continuously strove as activists to achieve equality, social, and economic justice. They overcame social abuse, and mistreatment from the public.The platform they have set has had an influential impact within different historical time periods, and the overall progress to move America into the right direction.
